Watercolor from Porto area 

Welcome to watercolor from Porto area

When travel do I mostly use watercolor, but as a rule do my oil paint box follow too. In the year 2000 and this year do we travel to Porto.One a trip, with the train, along river Douro ended our journey in Tua, in Douro valley and the first picture above is from Tua railway station . I paint this watercolor from the top of one sleeper pile. While sitting there do my best sable brush, as I had lay down for a while, find it right to trill of and  move down between all this sleepers. I do now watch out where I lay down my brushes, but back to the train trip, it was an verygood way to get an impression of that valley.I do my flower painting in Crystal park, Porto, it is really a fine park. The church, picture three, have a tower where you can get a good view  above Porto
