tip: brushes.
The picture
above show some brushes in my attic studio.
I recommend you to begin with a few brushes something of the
sort
you can see in front of the matchbox. The first rigger brush is
useful to sign with. This brush here is no 101, from
the Sceptre series by Winsor & Newton . They other
brushes on the table is flat pure hog hair brushes, made in China.
These have the numbers three, five and ten.
One painting knife, as the one in the foreground, is also good to use.
Be careful with the thin top of that knife, and it can also work as a
palette knife.
