What is the best to paint on? For mix
colors and do sketches will I recommend use of paper and paint board
(see no 1 and 2 in photo). When you begin to made paintings will
canvases, fabric ready, (no 3) be fine to use. Later on, for more
permanent work, will I recommend flax canvas mounting on stretcher (no
4). If you want to do icon paintings will you probably adopt to paint
on tree (no 5). I myself use earlier "building board" (no 6) for sketch
and for smaller paintings. Regarding size see matchbox no 7.
